Cancellation Policy

At Born To Shine,  we value your time and ours. To ensure fairness and respect for both our clients and our nail technicians, we have implemented the following cancellation and appointment policies.

Please note when making a booking with Born to Shine:
Service Changes
If you choose to downgrade your service on the day, you will be charged €15 for every 30 minutes reduced.
  • If we find an infection or damage to your nails and recommend removal for healing, downgrade fees will not apply.
  • If nail conditions were pre-existing and known beforehand, the downgrade fee will apply.
                                                                                               
  • If you book two or more services and cancel one on the day of your appointment, the cancelled service will be charged in full due to insufficient notice.
                                                                                                                                           
Sickness Policy
We've updated our policy to be more lenient for regular clients. This does not apply to new clients. Even If proper notice is given (before 10:00 AM), your deposit will be kept but no additional charge will apply. Late notice will result in the full service fee.
Morning Appointment ( First Slot ‘9am’ )
- If you are ill, notify us before 8.45 AM – no charge will apply.
- If you don’t notify us and do not attend – 50% charge applies.
Appointments after 9am ( 10am slots onward )
Charges will apply based on this strict timeline.
- Before 9 AM – No charge
- After 9 AM – 25% charge
- After 9:30 AM – 50% charge
- After 10:00 AM – 100% charge
We understand illness can come on suddenly, but if we're informed after 10:00 AM, the full service fee will apply. As we can't verify the nature or timing of the illness, we must apply this policy consistently to ensure fairness for our clients and team.
Late Arrival Policy
Please try to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate your appointment if time allows.
  • Some services may be modified (e.g., limited color choices or no nail art).
                                                                                               
  • If we cannot accommodate your appointment due to lateness, you will be charged in full.
                                                                                                                                           
  • If you inform us at least 15 minutes before your appointment that you’re unable to make it due to reasons like traffic or car trouble, a 50% fee will be charged.
Same-Day Booking
Same-day bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit. If an appointment occupying over 3 hours is changed, the full service fee will be charged. For online bookings without a deposit, the same policy applies and a fee will be incurred.


Our top priority is to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied with the service we provide. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied, we kindly ask that you notify the management before you leave. Should any issues arise after your visit, please reach out to us within 10 days of the service date and we will be happy to fix it for you without charge. We will try our best to complete the repairs within 48 hours after you contact us, although exceptions may be made in certain circumstances.
